Join the BeerMongers for a Halloween party to benefit Sisters of the Road.  Our friend John Foyston suggested a “Beer Glass Swap” as a way for us to raise some money for charity and to help provide our customers with appropriate glassware for their beer.  The idea is simple:

1.  Customers bring in up to 4 beer glasses to donate.  (We will be swapping bottle openers too!)

2.  Customers choose up to 4 beer glasses to take with them.

3.  Customers donate $1 for logo pint glasses and $2 for stemmed glassware to Sisters of the Road.

4.  Beer Glass Swap hours Saturday Oct. 29th 3pm to midnight & Sunday Oct. 30th All Day.

We will have live music Saturday night from 7-10pm featuring Friend of the Mongers DEVON.

We will have a beer raffle featuring Elysian Pumpkin Stout, The Great Pumpkin, Rogue Voodoo Doughnut Beer, a 3-liter Stone Anniversary Black IPA and more (tickets $5).

Bottles for sale will include Rogue, Southern Tier and other Pumpkin beers and great drafts too.

Customers in costume will be entered into special beer prize drawing.

Join The BeerMongers in celebration of our favorite beer blog BREWPUBLIC’s 3rd Anniversary.  Angelo and his cohorts have been keeping us posted on all the important beer events with colorful articles and lots of photos of our beer heroes.  Brewpublic and The BeerMongers have forged a special relationship with the brewers of Bend and Central Oregon.  We have secured kegs of usual and rare beer from Bend Brewing, Cascade Lakes, Deschutes, Boneyard Beer, Good Life, Below Grade, 10 Barrel and Three Creeks.  The Good Life and Below Grade are new breweries and we are excited to try their brews.  Of course we will have some beer related prizes to raffle off.  CHEERS!

Join the BeerMongers in welcoming one of Portland’s newest breweries to the store for a tasting event.  Chris and Alex started Two Kilts Brewing in Sherwood several months ago and they are making some great beers.  We will have two on draft to sample, a Fresh Hop Pale Ale and a Belgian-style Red.  Chris will be on hand to answer any questions about the beers and how to find their tasting room.  There will be some snacks and NFL on the big screen.  Cheers!
